Building Happiness: Day Trip

Today I go with my knit group to Missouri Town 1855 (which is a really awesome State park) where we will watch expert shearers, carders, spinners, and dyers do what they do to wool. I’m really looking forward to it.
What have you done lately with a group of people that you truly enjoy being with? If it’s been too long, go out and do something about it. Remember, happiness is not only planned and built, but experienced. Stop being so serious and go have some fun! Go take a day trip today!
Where can you go that takes less than three hours to drive and can occupy you and your family or friends? What is truly interesting about your neck of the woods? What is the day trip you take over and over just because you love to go there?
