Accountability Post
Jan. 8th, 2019 11:43 amI had to delete all the games off my phone except Pokemon Go (because I use it for exercise) because I've been wasting too much time on them. And by "too much time" I mean leisure time that could be spent reading or knitting or exercising.
I'm still making dents in the big projects. Not at the pace I'd like to, but still moving forward. I anticipate more of the same this week. I have a fairly busy, but not overwhelming day today and most of the rest of the week.
I'm a bit worried about money, because my payors are all being slow right now, but we'll probably be okay, so long as the government re-opens in the next couple of weeks (if it doesn't we're screwed. 75% of my income is from Medicaid and Medicare, both of which will soon be on the chopping block if the shutdown continues)
Gratitudes: My husband is getting some (dopey, sleepy) respite from pain. His meds adjustment is not going great, but at least he's not in agony. No, no opiates. But pretty much everything the doc gave him makes him dopey, sleepy, or both. Frankly, he functioned better on low-level opiates. I've decided to let my hair grow long again, and the in-between (so far) isn't quite as shaggy and dandelion-like as I'd feared. Right now all my technology is working.
