Still having that issue that I have tons of things to do and no time/no energy to do them. Have completed the sweater except for crocheting and sewing on the buttons (I gave up on the Chinese knot thing because my brain was not up for learning it yesterday and there would be a *lot* of making i-cord involved). Have just under half of the buttons made, though I made the first three significantly larger than the rest, so I *might* have to redo them (or might redo one of them in a different color that matches the other two, and have the three serve as a visual *pop* to the sweater)
I have *big* paperwork tasks to finish this week and have *not* gotten them done. Tax stuff, remittances, bankruptcy stuff, etc. I may just get in the habit of on the Saturdays when I have only one Saturday appointment (like this Saturday) just stay in my office another couple of hours to finish some of those tasks.
I have a meeting with Kathy and some of the folk helping her crowdfund her heart in a few minutes and I'm really frustrated that people in the US can raise *millions* for a useless wall in a few days, but four months in, Kathy doesn't have enough for her anti-rejection drugs, or even close (and don't get me even started on the *necessity* for this crowdfunding, when she *has* health insurance). Donate below if you can.

I am continuing to slowly and steadily lose weight simply by being a bit more mindful about what I eat. I am reading a nifty steampunk novel about a Black dominated New Orleans (as an independent city-state with deep Voudoun roots) that I am quite enjoying, called The Black God's Drums by P. Dejeli Clark. And a spare. I just got a notice that means I'll be done with work early tonight.
