Accountability Post: A very short day today, 3-4 appointments and then the bank, and then home. After I get home, I'll start the second sleeve of my sweater, work some more on my WIP, and hang out with family. I am likely to not post another accountability post over the weekend.

Gratitudes: I am grateful for the storm holding off until evening. I am grateful for Lady Day at my feet. I am grateful for audio books.

A bit of a sinus thing going on, but there's work to do so I'm doing it.

Gratitudes: I am grateful that we didn't lose power in either of the last two winter storms. I am grateful that my clients, for the most part, are showing up for their appointments. I am grateful that my husband is starting to adjust to his meds and has a couple of hours of functionality every couple of days or so.

Accountability Post: Even if I hadn't already declared today a "paperwork day" I wouldn't be going into the office. Sinus headache plus impassable roads = work in bed, starting when the meds kick in.

Halfway through the second sleeve of my sweater, then both pockets, finishing, blocking and buttons. So maybe this weekend?

Should *at least* get the remittances done today, and possibly the IRS tasks, if my brain holds out. Though the IRS is out of commission right now, so the urgency is down.

Gratitudes: I am grateful I don't have to drive on those roads today. I am grateful I have a comfy at home place to work. I am grateful for good coffee delivered by an excellent husband.

Still having that issue that I have tons of things to do and no time/no energy to do them. Have completed the sweater except for crocheting and sewing on the buttons (I gave up on the Chinese knot thing because my brain was not up for learning it yesterday and there would be a *lot* of making i-cord involved). Have just under half of the buttons made, though I made the first three significantly larger than the rest, so I *might* have to redo them (or might redo one of them in a different color that matches the other two, and have the three serve as a visual *pop* to the sweater)

I have *big* paperwork tasks to finish this week and have *not* gotten them done. Tax stuff, remittances, bankruptcy stuff, etc. I may just get in the habit of on the Saturdays when I have only one Saturday appointment (like this Saturday) just stay in my office another couple of hours to finish some of those tasks.

I have a meeting with Kathy and some of the folk helping her crowdfund her heart in a few minutes and I'm really frustrated that people in the US can raise *millions* for a useless wall in a few days, but four months in, Kathy doesn't have enough for her anti-rejection drugs, or even close (and don't get me even started on the *necessity* for this crowdfunding, when she *has* health insurance). Donate below if you can. https://www.gofundme.com/for-kathy039s-heart?member=749664

Gratitudes: Tomorrow will be the coldest day in several years, and I have both a warm home and a warm office. I am continuing to slowly and steadily lose weight simply by being a bit more mindful about what I eat. I am reading a nifty steampunk novel about a Black dominated New Orleans (as an independent city-state with deep Voudoun roots) that I am quite enjoying, called The Black God's Drums by P. Dejeli Clark. And a spare. I just got a notice that means I'll be done with work early tonight.

Today's almost as cold as yesterday, but not quite. I have a busy appointment day, and then will be working on paperwork through most of the evening. My goal starting tomorrow, for February, is to do a bit of a gaming fast (weekends only) and use that extra time for getting all the big projects done.

Once the projects are done the next set of tasks is the automation tasks, getting it so that I have less day to day work running my business.

If you've noticed that I'm pokey at getting the tasks done, that's accurate. I have severe anxiety as well as severe stress and moderate PTSD and depression. All of those contribute to making it difficult to concentrate on tasks. I spend a *lot* of time during many of my days fooling my brain into doing things it doesn't want to do. It's a disability, but not a severe enough one to require disability payments, though it's one severe enough to affect my life in significantly negative ways.

Also, today or tomorrow I'm going to update my professional profile on Psychology Today to emphasize being a trans-friendly therapist who works out of a building with three single stall bathrooms that can be used by any gender.

Gratitudes: I am grateful for the outpouring of understanding and love I got yesterday when I made a difficult and overdue decision about a longstanding relationship. I am grateful for my husband who two mornings in a row has brought me coffee in bed. I am grateful for the bare necessities of life.
