Regarding "10 or wait"...

The upgrade is going to be free for a year - that is, until the end of July 2016. Wait and see what the 'bleeding edgers' find, then make your decision. Remember also that current reports suggest that Microsoft takes more control over when/how you update under 10, and also make you "opt out" from certain things that would be better to default to "no" and require you to opt-in, like wifi password sharing and changing default programs to the MS choice (e.g., Edge instead of Firefox or Chrome).
